Something New

... So, I haven't written in three months. I have my reasons.. We moved to our first home - a new condo downtown. Its Gorgeous... 2 BR 2 BA , + office , + art room area, dark hardwood floors and dark granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, the whole sha-bang... Its a very open, 20 or more foot ceiling, 2 story penthouse loft with great lighting from big windows and a balcony that overlooks the river and faces the famous florida sunset. It has roof access to where a true bohemian-hearted being can find tranquility upon overlooking a panoramic view of Tampa and all its own magic. I love it and am very excited to decorate it! We just painted part of the upstairs last Memorial Day weekend... some accent walls to define the space so-to-speak.. We're going to go for the feel and look of simple-sleek urban loft with Scandanavian-Asian influences. The only con to this place is that it totally lacks storage room so we're going to have to get a little creative on that issue... Oh, and our precious little sweetheart of a toy min-pin insists on painting random places on the baseboard a nice burnt yellow hue... Thank God for 409 Carpet Spray and Clorox Cleanup!
